VfL is a charity and is directed by a board of trustees, who work voluntarily.

Company Secretary/ Director
Tina Fox

Tina retired from full time work three years ago after 11 years as Chief Executive of the Vegetarian Society UK. Before working for VegSoc, which includes the Cordon Vert Cookery School, Tina’s career was in public administration in senior roles with Liverpool City Council. She is a Director and previous Chair of the International Vegetarian Union, an ex-Trustee and Patron of the Wirral Green Alliance and an ex-Trustee of Vegetarian Housing Association.

Amanda Woodvine - VfL Co-ordinator England

Amanda currently works as an editor on public health and clinical guidance. She previously worked in an advisory role in both nutritional and legal environments, including a four-year spell as the Vegetarian & Vegan Foundation’s senior nutritionist. She remains a consultant for the same organisation, and also for a national website specialising in early years’ nutrition.

Trustees

Antony Byatt - Treasurer

Antony works for the Vegetarian Society UK Ltd as its Finance Manager. He is also a trustee of Vegetarian Housing Assocation and has been involved in the vegetarian movement for many years.

Peter Lakey – Chair

Peter is a retired businessman with wide commercial experience as a company director. He is a Chair of Flagship Housing Group - with over 22,000 properties, the largest social housing and care provider in Eastern England - and, over the years, has served in a number of voluntary roles, including magistrate and school governor. He also chairs Vegetarian Housing Association and is an ex-Chair of the Vegetarian Society UK.

Diane Moreton

Diane is a former solicitor . After a spell working with disadvantaged women with literacy problems and college lecturing, Diane made a career move into the care field and now manages the Domiciliary Care Department of a Gloucestershire charity for older people, which also runs a nursing home and a dementia care unit. Diane is also a trustee of the Vegetarian Housing Association.

Ray O'Leary

Ray is an information support officer at the Vegetarian Society UK Ltd - his is the friendly voice you are likely to hear if you call for assistance or need advice on a vegetarian lifestyle. Ray is also a trustee of the Vegetarian Housing Association.

Additional trustee/ advisor needed
