Published to celebrate World Vegetarian Day on October 1 2009, Vegetarian Living is a 40 page colour handbook on healthy-living. It’s primarily aimed at:

  • Older vegetarians and vegans - especially those well into their retirement years and who live independently, including in retirement schemes
  • Their families and friends
  • And others involved with their support and care


The handbook addresses the changing needs of older vegetarians, and offers advice on subjects such as: a positive approach to retirement, ‘simple tips to sharpen wits’, housing & care, diet and cookery. It also includes a useful section of ‘easy recipes-for-one’.
